Artwork Services
Optimized for how print actually works today. Not just vectorizing everything — the right treatment for each output.
Artwork prepared for production. Not just traced.
Different jobs need different artwork — and most don't need the most expensive option. Before you pay anyone to 'vectorize everything,' it's worth knowing what your output actually requires. That's what we'll tell you.
The result is a file that runs cleanly on your equipment — not just a file that opens in Illustrator.
Artwork by Production Method
Different outputs need different treatment. Here's how we approach each one.
DTF Optimized Artwork
DTF doesn't require 100% vector artwork anymore — and that's changed everything. A full re-vector of a complex logo often does more harm than good, destroying the subtle gradients and photographic qualities that make the design look right on film.
What DTF does need is a clean outer border and crisp small text. We selectively vectorize exactly those elements — the edge path and any fine text — while keeping the rest of the artwork as high-res raster. The result prints sharper, with better color fidelity, than a fully-vectorized file.
Do you actually need full vector artwork?
Here's the honest answer most artwork services won't give you: for a lot of today's production — especially DTF — you don't need a fully vectorized file. A clean image at around 300 dpi with a transparent background will often do the job perfectly, either as-is or with only partial vectorizing where it matters (edges, text). That can save you serious money.
Full vectorizing a simple logo? No problem — quick, clean, inexpensive. But a complex image can run $50, into the hundreds — and if you have multiple images, it multiplies. Paying that when a prepared 300 dpi transparent file would have worked is money wasted.
So our advice: don't just tell us 'make artwork.' Tell us what you're producing, send us what you have, and we'll tell you the cheapest route that genuinely works — full vector, partial vector, or a properly prepared image. If you tell us to vectorize, we'll vectorize. If it's simple, go ahead. If it's complex, always get a quote first. We'd rather save you the money — that's how you keep clients for decades.
Vinyl Cutting
Clean cut paths with properly optimized nodes — no stray points, no overlapping paths. We embed the cut path as a spot color layer in green or magenta, whichever your cutter or RIP software expects. Ready to load and cut without cleanup.
Hard Goods & Specialty
We prepare artwork files for laser engraving, rotary engraving, signage, and specialty promo output — getting your design into the correct format with clean paths and the right specs for your machine or supplier. The job is file prep, not production.
We have a laser machine in-house to test the file before it leaves us. If an engraving path has a gap, a double line, or a node problem that would cause a bad burn or a stalled cut, we find it here first — before it reaches your shop or your client's job.
We work in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. You'll get the file your production needs — an editable vector where required, and a high-resolution transparent-background image that opens in anything.
